One for Youth regional committees: Recipients from the 2nd edition

National Bank is proud to announce the winners from the second edition of its Canada-wide One for Youth Regional Committees program. This year, the Bank will be supporting 175 youth initiatives across the country. More than 27,000 young people will benefit from financial support awarded by the 12 Regional Committees that selected the winning youth organizations and projects.

Consisting of local National Bank managers, key stakeholders in the regions, and one member under the age of 25, each One for Youth eRegional Committee embodies National Bank’s desire to strengthen its ties across the region by providing financial support to projects that will help young people develop to their full potential.

The Committee members are tasked with selecting inspiring initiatives, according to the eligibility and selection criteria of the One for Youth, program, in three key areas: education, health/wellness, and pursuing dreams and following passions.

From encouraging students to stay in school and running food banks to developing healthy habits, literature, music, entrepreneurship, and academic assistance for students with learning disabilities, the selected initiatives all share the same ambition: to support the development of youth and invest in their future.
